“The route to achieving equity will not be accomplished through treating everyone equally. It will be achieved by treating everyone justly according to their circumstances.”

Pink Wave’s mission is to stand together against misogyny, patriarchal servitude, and fear of femme through community programs and legislative activities that support an inclusive feminist vision & intersectional racial, gender & reproductive justice. We aim to break down systemic barriers to inclusive and equitable healthcare, education, and leadership so that all people have the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
Born from a groundswell of women from the greater Stamford area who march and rally for equal rights, Pink Wave is emerging as a leader in grassroots organizing in our Stamford, Connecticut community and beyond.
We recognize that there can be no gender justice without racial justice and therefore strive for an intersectional foundation of feminism and activities that are mindfully inclusive. Our activities include community organizing and outreach, legislative support of Democratic, pro-reproductive freedom women/trans/non-binary leadership, community partnerships, and grassroots projects and activities.
